Yes that's right girls while I was browsing the net I saw something that got me curious. I saw chocolate and fashion in the title and thought mmmmm!! I read on and believe it or not there is a Choclate Fashion show....Yes Dresses you can actually eat...well maybe not in front of the designers.... they may get a bit cross if they see you munching on there master piece. Thinking about it, that's got to be hard A) not to get covered in chocolate and B) not just start munching on your own dress....if you didn't have lunch....!!!
Two things women love is chocolate and fashion so it works for me....just not sure its that practical to go to the pub in.....!!! If you ask me its genius....

Mini New Yorker and launching a Burrito .....
Hey it's been an interesting week for me and my blog as it's now one week old! Yay! And again Ugly Betty was on! Not sure what I'm going to do when it finishes though Sniff Sniff! Loads about blogging on Ugly Betty this week, which is why I started in the first place-it gave me inspiration! She got an award, which I think there was some discrepancy about what the L stood for-BLOB. BLOB stands for Black and Latina Organization of Bloggers. Best bit was the Burritos being thrown at Daniel! Wouldn't you love to be able to just launch a Burrito at someone! Lol! There will be, no doubt be a few people who are going to take it up as a sport, I am sure! Lol! I actually thought the comment of the B.H. (Betty Head-fan of Betty's blog) was funny that, because they were all Latina it was politically correct for them to throw the Burrito....very amusing.
Any way in Mini New Yorkers week no Burritos have been thrown-unfortunately as it did look rather fun. I decided today as the weather was miserable and it was freezing cold I would brighten the office up with me in my bright pink coat and pink 6 inched stilettos-which I love and should have bought more in other colours....!!!
Even If you have to wear a suit to work, like I do you can still wear bright accessories and shoes to make the out fit more interesting/glamorous. The most instant way to add glamour is to get some funky bright or sparkly bracelets and some cute studs-always pick something that's going to give that little glitz for the office. I love the danglely earring's, mostly silver or black. I can't wear gold earring's unfortunately as they doesn't really suit but I do try different styles of jewelry-as you all should don't be scared to try something new. And don't be scared to mix and match jewelry and throw a couple of necklaces on together. A wise women told me regarding jewelry and accessories less is always more...I think more is more. A wise women also said to me to choose what you are going to wear the night before so you don't have to rummage around looking for those specific tights or your Va Va Voom top. But if you really want to go the whole way then get up an hour earlier to style you hair to look even more glamorous. Unfortunately for me I am not a morning person and getting any earlier than I have to is out of the question....lol! But thankfully as my hair is naturally poker straight I don't need to do too much to it!! I wish I could start at 10.00am every day and then maximise my sleeping time and still have time to look glamorous with out getting up at ridiculous a clock. I am thinking about getting my hair cut again as I liked my style but want something different. What about getting a stylish fringe done or more choppy layers? It's got to be something I can just drag a brush through in the morning and look fabulous for work!! Any ideas let me know....well I am off for now so Toodles x

<-this is my painting of Ankor Wat in Cambodia,
(my finish line for my charity trek)
Let me know what you think....? Toodles xx
Mini New Yorkers is feeling under the weather.....
Gosh I feel and look terrible today...so when you're having a duvet day then you don't have to dress to impress-thank goodness! The best thing to do on a duvet day is have a hot honey and lemon drink, my mum swears by it....!! I have just boiled the kettle for mine. I hoping it will help as I should be back at work tomorrow...! I'm going to destress and look on the bright side. I think if I get a Wii for christmas from "Santa" I will defiantely be doing yoga every day on the Wii fit...! I know its hard to destress with the normal life issues but ladies you have to take some time out to pamper your self. You don't have to spend a lot to feel like you have had a spa treatment. Well I am off to have a little snooze and a long soaky bath. so for now toodles xx

Mini New Yorker's Christmas party season and the biggest question most womens lips is.....oh gosh what am I going to wear to that very important christmas office party
"The Little Black Dress"
"The Little Black Dress" is the solution to most fashion dilemma for a party. If its not first choice its certainly a good back up. But this year I feel it is all about the glamour and the sparkle so ladies get ready to dazzle. You can take a fairly plain black and team it with so very bright accessories to brighten the outfit up and stand out from the crowd...hey that's what the office parties are all about. That and singing very bad karaoke in front of your boss-a very Bridget Jones moment. So Ladies get ready for your days of pampering and Christmas shopping for that perfect outfit this....you don't have to spend to much to get a great out fit and if you need a dress I have have one you can borrow...Ha ha!! Enjoy your Dazzling Parties......you all deserve to look great.....and then its the whole thing again for New Year Eve. Well I will be having a very romantic dinner with my gorgeous boyfriend, with lots of romantic candles and a fabulous dinner all planned and then.....Some chocolate desert he he!! Lets hope it snows then it will just be perfect.

Bonfire Night-Good job it's Raining
I suppose it is definately a good thing actually that mother nature is providing so much rain just incase there a few problems in london with most of the fire fighters on strike and all...what a night to take a strike on probably there busiest night of the year for them.....who's idea was that.....very stupid. I think its probably safer to stay in this weekend.....well just pop out for a quick drink then grab out take away and the settle back down to watch xfactor. I'm off to bed now so toodles x x
Remember, remember the 5th of November...gunpowder, treason and plot...
So its Bonfire night and with this amount of rain I think most will be put off going to any events as its really not a good look being drenched and looking like a drowned rat....!!! I am hoping that it will clear up as I will be out and about on Saturday evening in one of my locals and then I think its my turn to choose a take away...mmmmm!! Might get Thai or Chinese....ooooh nooo definitely Thia!! A nice green Thai curry with sticky coconut rice-that would good with prawn crackers...it's making my mouth water just thinking about it...!!! So this weekend is going to be a quiet compared to the ones coming up. I believe that I will be going to see Reading at the Madaski stadium next weekend. Unfortunately football matches you can't look that glamorous...with out freezing...I have tried on many occasions to make the effort. Unfortunately it always seem to go to sub zero temperatures or be torrential rain when watching most games at this time of year. I think I remember having to blast the heaters in my car on my feet for about 10 Min's before I could feel them and drive home which I believe was last winter.
Any way, I didn't manage to paint a master piece last night but I'm going to give it ago tonight I think. Unless I get distracted by something good on the TV. Not sure whats on....!!
I hope it stops pouring too; I forgot my big umbrella. I will just have to blast the hot air in my car again...! I normally after being drenched looking like one of the small dogs when they get wet and look like they have no fur left and then when I get out of my car after being hot air blasted I then look like a fluff ball which has been dragged through a bush backwards quite a few times...!!
I'm not sure where and what my boyfriend and I will be going...if any if the is weather caries on... I will let you know...my tips for a event where your standing out in the rain...Lots of layers, big woolly jumper/cardigan and flat boots or some fabulous wellies to brighten up the outfit. You can but a nice bright woolly hat and a chunky scarf ideal for this time of years...looking glam in the middle of a muddy field in the rain...oh and take a little blanket to wrap round all part of the Bonfire Night Chic Mini New Yorker style.

Mini New Yorker's Christmas party season is approaching.....
I decided I would splash out for a Christmas out fit for all of £15.00-bargain, I went for the Mini New Yorker style. All glittery & gold and black. My boyfriend saw me and his response was "Ooooh Slinky Mouse" (my nickname, I'm small & cute-well that's what I'm saying!) So that's going to used for several events I am attending. As a Mini New Yorker I have a fairly busy schedule. All parties invites & work events and Christmas do's all to attend. That should be fun & then of course there's the family Christmas dinner. Looking back at the pictures I can also see how many clothes I got rid of. I would love to get it all back-one dress was Jade green dress it was lovely but stupidly got rid of it and now about 3 years on I wish I still had it. Such a pain. I think I would be very rich if I had kept all my clothes because I wouldn't have to buy new ones.... actually I still would buy more though. It is my only guilty pleasure as I don't drink or smoke so but I did feel soo guilty when I watched that film " confessions of a shopaholic" another style I like with all the bright colours !!! Oooh I have just bought some lovely purple fleece gloves for the our typical cold/rainy English winter. It's not as snowy as the winter in New York....!!!
well My boyfriend and I are just setting down to watch a film so I'm going to sign off now.... toodles xxx
Being an Honorary New Yorker....Mini New Yorker
So my first day as blogger.....ooooooh it's sooo exciting. I don't know where to begin! Oh I do, who watched Ugly Betty last night? Great wasn't it? It made me kind of fall in love with New York. I haven't been YET but it's on my list.....it just looks so Glamorous! Really I am honorary New Yorker from a small sleep village in the middle of England. I'm just itching to hail a big yellow cab. I'm the 'Real Life Ugly Betty', a bit QUIRKY and I certainly don't follow the usual trends, well I like to mix it up a bit.
I just love the chucking stuff together bit like my cooking style too Ha Ha! In fact I think my friend once said "you know, you make really ugly clothes look good.....not sure how you pull do it but you just manage to pull it off with your Kat Style." I was a bit hurt by the comment but I was told by several people it was a backwards compliment. I personally don't think I have that weirder fashion sense but I guess that as I love Ugly Betty's style (in some episodes) I probably have to agree with my friend. Anyway I'm ready to burst into the Big Apple. But unfortunately My big dreams to visit the Big Apple will have to wait, so I'll be a Mini New Yorker this side of the pond for the time being.
